A blood donation programme was held in conjunction with the 16th Anniversary of 4th Battalion of Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps under the supervision of Major General (Dr) PAC Fernando USP, Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps, Doctor A Nilmini Fernando, Chairman of Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps Seva Vanitha Branch and Consultant Transfusion Physician at Teaching Hospital, Jaffna.
Major PLAA Lekamge, Commanding Officer, 4th Battalion of Sri Lanka Army Medical corps coordinated the programme. Brigadier KJNMPK Nawarathne RWP RSP ndu, Brigadier General Staff, Security Forces Headquarters (Jaffna), Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the programme to make the event a success.
