The 4th Battalion Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment under Security Forces - Jaffna, 52 Infantry Division and 521 Infantry Brigade contributed in renovation and reconstruction of Government Tamil Mixed School, Chunnale (South). General Officer Commanding, 52 Infantry Division, Major General YAMB Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc handed over the school to children on 21st August 2023.
The 4th Battalion Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment in coordination with “Vanni Aid Canada" organization and upon receiving financial assistance, constructed buildings, sanitary facilities, landscaping, staffs’ rest room, main entrance, water tank and perimeter wall of the school.
Government Officials, parents, students and local residents participated in the occasion and appreciated the commitment of the Army.
