The General Officer Commanding 52 Infantry Division, Major General KPSA Fernando RWP RSP ndu relinquished his duties on 07 June 2023. He will assume his duties in the appointment as the Director General Infantry at Army Headquarters in a couple of days. The outgoing General Officer Commanding made his visit to 521 & 523 Infantry Brigades to address all Officers and Soldiers under command to 52 Infantry Division on 05 June 2023.
Keeping up with the norms and traditions of the military, the outgoing General Officer Commanding was awarded a guard turnout and a guard of honour at the Division Headquarters on 06 June 2023 followed by the formal address to all ranks. Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers and Senior Officers of 52 Infantry Division were present at this event.
