Security Forces (Jaffna) with the motive of expanding knowledge on Information Technology (IT) among troops serving in Jaffna peninsula commenced NVQ Certificate Course on 16th February 2023 at Nenapahana Computer Training Centre – Kankasanthurai. On the direction and supervision of the Commander Security Forces (Jaffna), Major General Swarna Bothota the first phase of the certificate course was launched with the participation of 17 Other Ranks.
Colonel SN Wijesinghe USP IG, Colonel Coordinator of the Security Forces Headquarters (Jaffna) delivered the opening address, emphasizing the importance and the requirement of computer education. The inauguration of the course was attended by the Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks.
