Commander Security Forces (Jaffna) Makes His First Visit to Forward Maintenance Area (North) & Logistic Units

The Commander Security Forces (Jaffna), Major General Swarna Bothota , made official visit to HQ Forward Maintenance Area (North) and its under command Logistic Units on 03 January 2023.

Commander Security Forces (Jaffna) on arrival at HQ Forward Maintenance Area (North) was received by Commander Forward Maintenance Area (North), Brigadier Clifford Zoysa. The Commander Security Forces (Jaffna) planted a mango sapling to mark his visit to the Forward Maintenance Area (North). Subsequently, he posed for a group photograph with all Commanding Officers of Logistics Units and the Staff of the HQ Forward Maintenance Area (North). Later, he addressed the troops and participated for All Ranks Tea.

Thereafter, Major General Swarna Bothota visited the Headquarters of 4th Battalion the Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. During the camp visit, Commander Security Forces (Jaffna) inspected the progress of the maintenance and modification process of vehicles prior to pose for a group photograph and planted a sapling as symbol of memory.

Brigadier Admin and Quartering of Security Forces Headquarters (Jaffna), Commanding Officers, Officers and troops of Forward Maintenance Area (North) were also present during the visit.
