With the intention of promoting good relations and understanding the newly-appointed Commander Security Forces (Jaffna), Major General Swarna Bothota paid homage to Nagadeepa Temple, Naga Viharaya Temple, Bishop of Jaffna and Nallur Kovil to receive blessings of the deities.
The Commander met the Chief Incumbent of Nagadeepa Purana Raja Maha Viharaya Most Ven. Nawadagala Padumakitti Tissa Thera, Chief Incumbent of Naga Viharaya Temple Ven Meegahajandure Siriwimala Thero, Bishop of Jaffna His Lordship Right Reverend Dr. Justin B Gnanapragasam, Chief Priest at Nallur Kovil, Srila Sri Somasunthra Ganasampantha Paramacharya Swamigal in Jaffna on 27th December 2022. The General Officer Commanding 51 Infantry Division Major General Wajira Welagedara and Senior Staff Officers associated the Commander during the visit.
