Jaffna Commander Bids Salute to Troops in Jaffna

The Commander Security Forces Jaffna, Major General Chandana Wijayasundara bid salutes to the troops of 51, 52, 55 Infantry Divisions and Forward Maintenance Area (North) before ending the tenure as the Commander Security Forces Jaffna. The visiting Outgoing Commander was warmly and honourly welcomed by the respective Commanders of the Divisions and the Commander Forward Maintenance Area (North) in their respective Headquarters following the military traditions and customs.

During the final visits to the Divisions and Forward Maintenance Area (North), Security Forces Commander offered his sincere gratitude to All Ranks serving in respective formations for higher standard of professionalism maintained during his tenure and committed service rendered to maintain a peaceful environment in Jaffna Peninsula. Further, the significance of maintaining the security in the respective areas and the importance of safeguarding the discipline of soldiers were also highlighted by the Outgoing Commander.

Troops addresses were followed the group photographs and planting of saplings to mark the final visits of Major General Chandana Wijayasundara as the Commander of the Security Forces Jaffna.
