On a concept and the guidance of the General Officer Commanding of 52 Infantry Division, Major General Sanjeewa Fernando in order to maintain goodwill among the Army and Tamil Community, the staff of the 52 Infantry Division offered a special lunch on 22 November 2022, for thirty-five people who are residing in the Deaf and Blind Elders Home at Kaithady.
The event was held at under the patronage of the General Officer Commanding, and all the staff of 52 Infantry Division. Colonel General Staff of the 52 Infantry Division, Colonel Priyantha Ranathunga, the staff of the 52 Infantry Division and 523 Infantry Brigade and the Commanding Officers of respective Battalions participated in the event.
