As per the concept of the Commander Security Forces (Jaffna), Major General Chandana Wijayasundara RSP USP ndu, a Basic Cookery Course was launched on 20th September 2022 at Thalsevana Army Resort that offered training in western and oriental cuisine for the troops, who are interested in culinary field in Jaffna Peninsula.
19 Other Ranks attended the 35 days Course and,the Certificate Awarding Ceremony was held on 25th October 2022 at Thalsevana Army Resort, where the Commander Security Forces (Jaffna) graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The Certificate Awarding Ceremony was attended by Brigadier Admin and Quartering, Brigadier Anura Bandara together with Senior Officers of the Security Forces (Jaffna).
