A Blood Donation Campaign was organized by the troops of the 513 Infantry Brigade, under command to the 51 Infantry Division Kopai as per the guidance and supervision of the 513 Brigade Commander, Colonel M R Razick RSP on 20th August 2022.
The Blood Donation Campaign was conducted with the assistance of Dr. R M Guru and the Thelippalei Blood Bank at Thelippalei.
A gathering of Army troops serving in the 513 Infantry Brigade, 11 Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI), 16 (V) Gamunu Watch and Civilians in General Area offered more than 84 pints of blood during the campaign to make the community project a success.
