Out going Commander of Security Forces Jaffna, Major General Sujeewa Senarath Yapa RWP RSP ndu and on behalf of his rendered greatest services to peninsula was commended by the Jaffna Youth on 12th June 2022.
During the tenure of out going Commander’s in Jaffna, he initiated and launched series of Civil Military Coordination Activities to build goodwill between forces and community of Jaffna and win the hearts and minds of Youth in Jaffna. On the direction of past Commander of Jaffna, Major General Sujeewa Senarath Yapa, Theiddi Sports playground and the pavilion at Thlippalei Divisional Secretariat were modernized the troops of Jaffna. Further, numbers of sports events were organized and co-ordinated among Youth Associations, Community and Forces to strengthen the reconciliation among community and forces.
Admiring the genuine service rendered to the Youth of Jaffna, out going Commander Major General Sujeewa Senarath Yapa was commended by the Jaffna troops, before he left the Jaffna Peninsula.
