A donation of school accessories and dry ration items were distributed among 44 children and their families in the 52 Infantry Division area on 08 April 2022 at the Puttur Madihe Pannasiha Vidyalaya under the patronage of the General Officer Commanding - 52 Infantry Division, Brigadier H M U Hearth RWP RSP USP psc Hdmc.
The project was sponsored by Mr.DD Wijesinghe , Mrs. Lakshmi Dissnayake and their daughter Miss Kaveesha Jayani and Mr Janaka Gunathilake from "Jathika Urumayan Surakeeme Maha Sammelanaya" along with the coordination of Lieutenant Colonel Dammika Jayarathna, Deputy Commandant of the Vijabahu Infantry Regimental Centre.
Further, a Cycle was donated to the student, who scored 158 marks in Grade Five Scholarship Examination by the Venerable Chandrakeerthi Thero – Sri Naradha International Buddhist Centre, Colombo 7. Commander 522 Infantry Brigade, Senior Officers of 52 Infantry Division, Commanding Officer 15(V) GR and troops of 15(V) GR were present on the occasion under COVID - 19 preventive measures.
