In line with the government policy of restricting and banning the agrochemicals including insecticide and herbicides, the Security Forces Headquarters Jaffna in collaboration with the District Director of Agriculture, Ms. A Sakeela Banu conducted one day workshop on “Organic Fertilizers Making” on Tuesday 5 October 2021.
This one day workshop was organized under the direction of the Commander Security Forces Jaffna Major General Jagath Kodithuwakku RWP RSP ndu. A total of 54 troops including 14 officers attended for this workshop. During the programme, troops were educated on advanced technical knowledge and skills on producing the EM liquid which is used for enhancing the quality of the organic fertilizers.
At the end of the secession, Brigadier General Staff of the Security Forces Jaffna presented a memento to Ms. A Sakeela Banu as a token of appreciation.
