Troops of the 513 Infantry Brigades under the 51 Infantry Division conducted another of 'Shramadana' Cleaning campaigns to keep the areas to free from dengue mosquitoes in the Jaffna peninsula on 16 and 18 July 2021.
Accordingly, Shramadana’ campaign was conducted under instructions and guidance of General Officer Commanding 51 Infantry Division Major General Deepal Pussella at Ghana Wairawal Kovil – Araly Further, this programme was closely supervised by Brigadier Mohomed Fariz - Commander 513 Brigade in their respective Ares.
Troops of the 11th Battalion of Sri Lanka Light Infantry and 16th Battalion of Gemunu Watch involved with this 'Shramadana' programme respectively under the strict health guidelines stipulated by the Army Headquarters.
