Commander Security Forces Jaffna Briefs Jaffna Media on Covid -19 Situation

Commander, Security Forces (Jaffna) and District Coordinator COVID-19 Control and Prevention of Jaffna, Major General Priyantha Perera RWP RSP ndu briefed the media of Jaffna in Tamil language to aware the people of Jaffna on prevailing COVID – 19 situation in Jaffna Peninsula on Friday 21 May 2021.

During the Media briefing, Commander highlighted the current Covid status in Jaffna Peninsula and emphasized the pivotal role of the security forces in control and preventing the pandemic situation in the Jaffna peninsula. Also, he briefed the public on precautions, health guidelines and eruption of new clusters of patients, etc. Further, he urged general public to stay at home, and to adhere the government instruction laid on movement restrictions to be protected individually and as a community.
