The Commander Security Force (Jaffna), Major General Priyantha Perera RWP RSP ndu made a observatory visit to the Battalion Training School, Vidaththalpalai on Wednesday 05 May 2021. On arrival, the visiting Commander, Security Force (Jaffna) was warmly welcomed by the General Officer Commanding 52 Infantry Division, Brigadier Harendra Peiris RWP RSP USP ndu.
During the visit, the Commander Security Force (Jaffna) addressed newly enlisted Sinhala, Tamil and Muslim recruits and emphasized importance of training, wellbeing of soldiers and unity among all. Furthermore, the visiting Commander addressed Instructor Panel of Battalion Training School pertaining to training, administration matters and future plans. During the briefing the Commander Security Force (Jaffna), gave away required instructions to the staff of the training school in order to uplift the training and infrastructure facilities of the school.
The Brigadier General Staff, Commander 521 Infantry Brigade, Commander 523 Infantry Brigade Staff Officers of Security Force (Jaffna), Commanding Officers of under command battalions and Instructors of Battalion Training School Vidaththalpalai were also present.
