Security Force Headquarters Jaffna organized another community related programme for needy families at Nawakkuli village on eve of the Sinhala and Hindu New Year Festival. This donation programme was implemented by the troops of 12th Battalion Gemunu Watch on the concept of Commander Security Force Jaffna, Major General Priyantha Perera RWP RSP ndu, on Tuesday, 13 April 2021.
Commander Security Force Jaffna graced this donation programme as the Chief Guest and handed out the items which are required to celebrate new year's day event's of "Kiri Ithiraweema" and preparing "New Year Table", dry ration packs and fresh vegetables for the underprivileged families in Nawakkuli village. After receiving the New Year gift packs, respective beneficiaries, they highly appreciated the Commander’s commitment and motivation launching such charity services.
Commander 523 Infantry Brigade, Senior Officers, Troops and Civilians were present during the donation programme.
