During a brief ceremony organized by 513 Infantry Brigade on Friday, 19 March 2021, Commander Security Force - Jaffna Major General Priyantha Perera RWP RSP ndu laid the foundation stone amidst religious customs for the construction of new house for Mrs. R. Amudapriya and her family in Sangarathai, Jaffna.
Mr. Kumara Weerasooriya will coordinate the financial cost of the materials for the construction work over the request made by the Commander Security Force - Jaffna. The troops of 11 Sri Lanka Light Infantry under the supervision of commander 513 Brigade will provide much needed manpower for the construction work. After laying down the foundation stone, the Commander Security Force Jaffna distributed a dry ration pack and school items to the children of the family.
General Officer Commanding 51 Infantry Division, Commanders of 511, 513 and 515 Infantry Brigades, Senior Officers, Divisional Secretary - Chankanai, Government Officials and Tri Forces and Police Ex-servicemen living in Jaffna and Troops of the Security Force Jaffna were also present during this ceremony.
