Troops under 512 Infantry Brigade extended much needed manpower to manhandle a number of 57 cardiac beds which received from Australia, to the new cardiology unit on the 3rd floor of newly constructed building at Jaffna Teaching Hospital on Sunday, 31 January 2021. The endeavor was initiated upon the request of the Director of Teaching Hospital Jaffna and thus the troops were guided by Commander 512 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier Eranda Ratnayake WWV RWP RSP USP with the directives of General Officer Commanding 51 Infantry Division, Major General Sumith Premalal RWP RSP USP. The Director and Medical Staff of Jaffna Teaching Hospital praised the untiring effort extended by the troops in Jaffna peninsula.
Civil Affairs Officer 51 Infantry Division and General Staff Officer III (Operations) of 512 Infantry Brigade were present during the assignment.
