Upon the request made by Jaffna Teaching Hospital, Troops of 5 Sri Lanka Army Service Corps conducted a Blood Donation Camp on Thursday, 21 November 2019 in order to address the requirement at Blood Bank, Jaffna. The campaign was coordinated by Army Base Hospital Palaly in which a large number of Officers/Other Rankers Serving under Security Forces – Jaffna attended to donate blood.
The programme was conducted with the assistance of Doctors and medical Staff at Jaffna Teaching Hospital and Army Base Hospital Palaly. Security Forces Commander Major General Ruwan Wanigasooriya and Senior Officers Participated for the Programme.
