Forty six Officer Cadets of Intake 88, from the Sri Lanka Military Academy paid a visit to Security Forces Headquarters - Jaffna on 04th and 05th September 2020. The visit was scheduled as a part of their training curriculum.
On behalf of the Commander Security Forces - Jaffna, Major General Senerath Bandara, Senior Staff Officers warmly welcomed the Officer Cadets to the Headquarters. They were briefed on the role and responsibility of Security Forces - Jaffna, the present situation and the efforts taken by the military to develop the livelihoods of the people to enhance the government reconciliation mechanism in the Jaffna Peninsula in the post-conflict scenario.
Later the Officer Cadets visited the Jaffna Fort, Jaffna Library, General Denzil Kobbekaduwa Memorial Monument and the Nallur Kovil in Jaffna. At the end of the session, Officer Cadets of Intake 88 presented a memento as a token of appreciation on behalf of their visit.
