Under the guidance and supervision of Major General PR Pathiravithana USAWC psc, General Officer Commanding of the 52 Infantry Division and Brigadier WKSPMRAB Dodamwala psc, Commander of the 522 Infantry Brigade, a special Christmas service held at the St. Mary's Church, Kadeikadu, at night 24/ 25 December.
Troops showing their goodwill and cooperation, provided refreshments to all the devotees participated for the day’s event with the assistance of 23rd Battalion, the Gemunu Watch, 1st Battalion, Mechanized Infantry Regiment and 10th(V) Battalion, Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment.
The programme was coordinated by Major SH Sudhusinghe VIR, the Commanding Officer of 10th (V) Battalion, Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment and approximately 750 devotees participated for the refreshment during the time period.
