As per the guidance of General Officer Commanding, 52 Infantry Division and under the supervision of Commander, 521 Infantry Brigade,troops of 11 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment organized a cricket tournament in Karaveddi and Point Pedro DivisionalSecretariats on the account of 76th Independence Day celebrations at the Chidambara College ground on 4th February 2024.
14 teams participated in the tournamentand General Officer Commanding, 52 Infantry Division, Major GeneralYABM Yahampath RWP RSP ndupscgraced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Divisional Secretary - Karaveddi,Doctors in Valvettithurai hospital, principal of Chidambara College,police OIC - Valvettithurai, community members and civilians witnessed the cricket tournament.
