Besides the Covid -19 prevention and control measures initiated by Security Force (Jaffna) a dengue prevention campaign was organized by the troops of 51, 52 and 55 Infantry Divisions, in concurrence with the 73rd National Independence Day on the instruction and Direction of the Commander Security Force Jaffna, Major General Priyantha Perera RWP RSP ndu on Tuesday, 02 February 2021. Police Officers, Public Health Inspectors, Officials of Dengue Prevention Unit in Jaffna, Students of Jaffna University and Civilians joined hands with the troops during the campaign.
The dengue prevention programme involved in cleaning many urban and rural areas covering the Jaffna peninsula. The troops and all other stakeholders of Dengue Prevention Campaign, reflected the goodwill of Civil - Military Coordination in Jaffna Peninsula.
