Troops serving in 523 Infantry Brigade under the Security Forces – Jaffna, on account of 76th Independence Day organized a blood donation campaign on 04th February 2024 at 7 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment’s camp premises – Kodikamam.
Under the direction of the General Officer Commanding, 52 Infantry Division, Major General YABM Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, Lieutenant Colonel RMB Rathnayake USP organized the blood donation campaign.
More than hundred Officers/ Other Ranks and Doctors/ Staff of the Regional Blood Centre – Teaching Hospital, Jaffna volunteered to donate blood during the arrangement. Towards the end of the campaign, participants received a packet of refreshment donated by the Incumbent Thero, Navakkuli Temple and a business union in Chavakachcheri.
