As per the directions of the Commander Security Forces (Jaffna), Major General Sujeewa Hettiarachchi RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc, 52 Infantry Division conducted an extensive cleaning programme along the A9 road from Elephant Pass up to Kaithadi Bridge in coinciding with the World Solid Day on 5th December 2023.
The programme was carried out by troops of 522 and 523 Infantry Brigades with the assistance of local authorities. The endeavour concluded successfully and was welcomed enthusiastically by the community.
