On eve of Poson Full Moon Poya Day, 51 Division troops of the Security Force Jaffna distributed Dry Ration Packs and packets of lunch among needy families in Chunnakam, Uduvil, Inuvil, Karainager, Chulipuram, Chankanai, Sillalai and Thaiaddi areas on 24 June 2021.
Mr. Kumar Weerasooriya sponsored to this project and under the relief programme dry ration packs and lunch packets were received by needy people at their doorsteps due to COVID-19 prevailing situation in Jaffna. Relief programme was conducted on under the close supervision of Major General Deepal Pussella RWP RSP, General Officer Commanding, 51 Division and on the guidelines given by Commander Security Forces Jaffna, Major General Priyantha Perera RWP RSP ndu.
Troops of 511, 513 and 515 Infantry Brigade carried out distribution programme under the stipulated health guidelines.
