In remembrance of all Sri Lankans who laid down their lives in the pursuit of peace and unity the 511 Infantry Brigade under the 51 Infantry Division organized a community service programme with children and staff of Karunalayan Child Home, Kopay on 14 June 2025.
As part of this initiative troops of the 15th Sri Lanka National Guard conducted a cleaning programme at the Karunalayam Child Home in Kopay. This meaningful activity was carried out under the guidance Major General YABM Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc Commander Security Forces – Jaffna, under the supervision of of Major General MPNA Muthumala USP psc, General Officer Commanding 51 Infantry Division and under the close supervision of Lieutenant Colonel SMC Samarasinghe RSP SLNG, Commanding Officer of the 15th Sri Lanka National Guard. Further, troops of the 15th Sri Lanka National Guard arranged a refreshment for the participants.
