Tri Services and Police Ex-Servicemen Get-Together in Jaffna

Tri Forces and Police veterans who live in Jaffna peninsula were hosted and entertained during a get- together organized by Security Force Headquarters – (Jaffna) at Thalsevana Holiday Resort on Friday, 19 March 2021. The get- together was organized under the directions of the Commander Security Force – Jaffna, Major General Priyantha Perera RWP RSP ndu. Veterans who served in the services during 1970-1990 were facilitated a day with exhilaration and entertainment at the Thalsevana Holiday Resort.

At the function, Commander Security Force Jaffna highlighted the veterens' service rendered to the forces during their tenure and appreciated their attendance on the occasion. He further invited their children to lend their hands with this national portrait as Sri Lankans.

Further, Commander Security Force Jaffna promised that all necessary facilities for the ex servicemen including welfare to these veterans are provided by the army. Security Force Commander commended the commitment of the ex servicemen towards the motherland and presented gifts to mark this memorable meeting.

End of the function, the retirees paid their gratitude to the Commander Security Force Jaffna for organizing Ex-servicemen get-together.

General Officer Commanding 51 Division, Commanders of 511, 513 and 515 Infantry Brigades and Senior Staff Officers of Security Force Headquarters – Jaffna were also present this occasion.
