As per the conceptual guidance of the Commander Security Forces Jaffna, Major General Chandana Wijayasundara a programme was initiated accompanying with National Vocational Training Authority and Tertiary and Vocational Education Commissionto provide professional recognition in National and International level for the members of the Sri Lanka Army which will be beneficial whilst being serving in the Army and after the retirement.
Accordingly, a three phase programme was conducted on 26, 27 and 28 November 2022 in line with RPL System (Recognition of Prior Learning) and conducted professional guideline lectures along with workshops in order to select potential candidates for awarding NVQ 3 and NVQ 4 level certificates.
The programme was successfully conducted with the participation of the Director Vocational Training Authority, Director Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission, 08 Officers and 300 candidates representing 15 fields.
