Mr. MTB Ramachandran, the Secretary, Mr. N Thavarajah assistance secretary and officials of the Hindu Buddhist Cultural Association, Jaffna met the Commander Security Forces Jaffna, Major General Priyantha Perera RWP RSP ndu at Security Force Headquarters premises on Friday, 19 February 2021.
During the meeting, officials of Hindu Buddhist Cultural Association, Jaffna mentioned that, they have been conducting said languages training since few year back for over 21,000 Tamil students in Jaffna peninsula. Further Mr. MTB Ramachandran stated that his Association is determined to continue their effort to bridge the language gap between two major communities; Sinhaleese and Tamils.
Officials of Hindu Buddhist Cultural Association believe that languages could enhance the peaceful environment in the country which could strengthen the reconciliation process.
Finally, the Commander Security Force Jaffna commended the valuable contribution of Hindu Buddhist Cultural Association Jaffna and assured to lend the helping hands for their future endeavors.
