In order to discuss the “Green Agriculture” and coordination of supply of organic fertilizer, Mr. Sammugarasa Siwasri, the Divisional Secretary – Thelippalei call on the General Officer Commanding, 51 Division and Jaffna District Coordinator, Major General Chandana Wickramasinghe at the Headquarters, 51 Division on 03 February 2022.
During the cordial interaction meeting that followed, both of them exchanged views on matters related to green agriculture programme in order to develop organic fertilizer production in the coming “Yala” Season. Divisional Secretariat – Thelippalei also accompanied for a field visit to witness ongoing projects in the 51 Division Area. During the field visit, they had an opportunity to interact with medical student of the University of Jaffna. Finally Divisional Secretariat, payed his gratitude to the Sri Lanka Army, for the effort taking in order to uplift the standards of innocent civilian living in the Area of Responsibility and also effort taking to protect historical value places.
Additional Divisional Secretary – Thelippalei, Brigade Commanders of 511 and 515 Brigade and Staff Officers of the Division participated for the formal discussion.
