52 Infantry Division troops under the supervision of Security Force Headquarters (Jaffna) conducted multiple disaster-response and public-health operations across the area of responsibility on 11 December 2025.
The 4 Sri Lanka Singha Regiment Conducted a joint cleaning program at J/Ganasariya School Karaweddi, located within the Thunnalai (west) Grama Niladhari Division, in coordination with parents and the local community.
Troops of 23 Gemunu Watch Regiment Cleaned the Muhamalai RCTM School that was left in a state of damaged due to heavy weather condition.
Amman kovila, located in Vettalakerni, was severely flooded, resulting in damage to the Kovil premises. Troops of the 10 (Volunteer) Vijayaba Infantry Regiment, conducted a clean-up event to restore the Kovil premises.
These timely efforts by the Sri Lanka Army highlight their continued commitment to supporting communities and mitigating the effects of natural disasters.
