52 Infantry Division troops under the supervision of Security Force Headquarters (Jaffna) conducted multiple disaster-response and public-health operations across the area of responsibility on 05 December 2025.
23 Gemunu Watch troops provided drinking water to 40 families in Muhamalai and cleaned the damaged Iththavil RCTM School.
10 (Volunteer) Vijayaba Infantry Regiment troops cleaned and restored the Thalayadi Post Office.
4 Sri Lanka Singha Regiment troops with the Divisional Secretariat personnel cleaned the Katkovalam beach area of fish market and distributed milk packets.
11 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment troops cleaned the surroundings of Selvasanniddi Kovil in Thondaimanaru.
These humanitarian efforts by the 52 Infantry Division reflect the Army’s continued commitment to assisting civilians in times of natural disasters by ensuring access to supporting the well-being of the affected communities.
