The Unit Administration and Accounts Course for Young Officers - Course No 02, was commenced from 19 January 2026 to 07 February 2026, in order to uplift the professionalism, administrative competency and leadership among young officer cadre. This course was organized with the guidance of Commander of the Army and conducted with the direct supervision of the Commander, Security Forces (Jaffna), Major General KTP De Silva RSP ndu psc and Commander Logistics Command, Brigadier KPNSK Kariyawasam Lsc AATO.
Primary objective of this Course was to develop an accomplished administrative professional who possess the knowledge, skills and practical confidence required to efficiently manage administration, financial systems and regimental accounts at unit level.
In addition to the lectures and discussions, the course offered a number of related activities to improve practical exposure. The participants embarked on a study visit to key administrative establishments, allowing them to observe, how systems and processes are structured and executed in successful units.
Course concluded on 08 February 2026 and certificates were presented to the qualified participants by the Commander Security Forces (Jaffna), Brigadier General Staff, Brigadier Admin & Quartering and Chief Instructor of the course as a testament to their successful completion.
