Security Forces Constructed the 773rd House in Jaffna for Another Needy Family

As a part of community service programme launched under the guidance of Major General YABM Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, the General Officer Commanding - 52 Infantry Division and with the supervision of Colonel MHR Fernando RWP RSP USP, Commander 521 Infantry Brigade, the troops of the 4th Battalion Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment constructed a new house and handed over to a penurious family who subsists in Thambiapulam Alwai, Point Pedro on 26th December 2023.

The house was constructed with the financial contribution of Mrs Thabitha Cinnaiya who lives in Canada through the “WANNI AID CANADA” organization and treasuries were coordinated by Major General Ravi Rathnasingham (Retired). The Commander Security Forces Headquarters - Jaffna, Major General SRK Hettiarachchi RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc graced the occasion as the chief guest and Senior Officers signifying Sri Lanka Army, government executives and religious leaders of the area were also presented on the occurrence of handing over ceremony.
