On the occasion of the 70th Anniversary of India’s Republic Day, the commemoration of Fallen Heroes of Indian Peace Keeping Force (IPKF) was held at the IPKF Monument located at Palaly on Sunday 26 January 2020. The Consul General of India in Jaffna, Mr. S Balachandran together with the Commander Security Forces - Jaffna, Major General Ruwan Wanigasooriya, paid tributes to the Fallen Heroes by placing flower wreaths at the monument.
