To boost the morale and welfare of the soldiers, 51 Infantry Division commenced to uplift the living standard of the troops serving in the division with concept and guidance of Major General MPNA Muthumala USP psc General Officer Commanding of 51 Infantry Division, refurnished other rankers mess handed over to troops on auspicious time on 18 June 2025.
The total expenditure for the renovations funded by the division. Constructions and renovations assistance provided by the Divisional Engineer Services troops with guidance of the general officer commanding. The event was graced by the General Officer Commanding 51 Infantry Division as the chief guest. Senior staff officers, officers and other ranks were present at the event.
