The troops of 10 (V) Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment organized a programme to provide a nutritious lunch to the students of Senth Pills Meris Preschool on 18 November 2024. The initiative catered to 15 children and two teachers residing in the J/426 Champiyanpaththu (North) Grama Niladhari Division.
This community welfare programme was conducted under the directives of the Commanding Officer, 10 (V) Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment, and was executed in accordance with the guidance of the Commander, 522 Infantry Brigade, and the General Officer Commanding, 52 Infantry Division. Such initiatives reflect the Army's unwavering commitment to uplifting the welfare and well-being of civilians within the Area of Responsibility (AOR).
