The 11 Field Engineer Regiment provided security support for a cross-village running competition at the Kaithady Nuffield School for the Deaf and Blind on 30 January 2026, in response to a request from the school's Principal. The task was carried out under the supervision of the Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel DMRC Dunusinghe psc SLE with the participation of 03 Officers with 38 Other Ranks.
Furthermore, the school's Principal, teachers and students expressed their gratitude for the troops' contribution, which was essential to the event's success.
