Major General MK Jayawardena RSP USP ndu assumed the duties as the 25th General Officer Commanding (GOC), 55 Infantry Division of the Security Force Headquarters (Jaffna) during a simple ceremony on Wednesday 23 June 2021 at the Divisional Headquarters Kaddaikadu.
The newly-appointed General Officer Commanding placed his signature on an official document to acceptance of his new office, with the blessing of religious mark.
Commanders of under command Brigade, Commanding Officers, Staff Officers of 55 Division also attended at the event.
