The Commander Security Forces (Jaffna), Major General Swarna Bothota opened the newly-built accommodation block for the Senior Officers at Security Forces Headquarters (Jaffna) on 29th May 2023 amidst blessings of all Officers during a simple ceremony at the auspicious time. Major General Swarna Bothota cut the ribbon and formally opened the accommodation block. Soon after the opening, the Commander, SF (J) spoke to a gathering of Army officers and shared couple of thoughts.
The newly-constructed accommodation block includes eight rooms along with attached bathrooms, a long-felt need at this Headquarters. 5th Engineer Services Regiment provided technical assistance and the overall construction responsibility while the Officer in charge of Engineer Services Regiment of SFHQ - (J) supervise the construction and troops under the SFHQ-(J) gave lab our assistance for completion of the project.
All officers of the SFHQ (J) attended the occasion.
