The sacred Maviddapuram Sri Kanthaswamy Kovil Pooja of Hindu tradition, held on 25th January 2024 at Maviddapuram Sri Kanthaswamy Kovil - Thellippalai invoked blessings for newly appointed Commander Security Forces - Jaffna, Major General Chandana Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc.
The traditional pooja, comprised of offering of fruits to the deities is regarded as one of the most divine rituals in Hinduism where statues of deities are poured with water or fragrant substances, indeed a rare feature.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks of Hindu faith joined the prayer sessions.
