Brigadier P Vithanage assumed duties as the Commander of Logistic Command SFHQ (Jaffna), amidst religious blessings and military formalities at the Logistic Command SFHQ (Jaffna) on 05June 2024.
The newly-appointed Commander of Logistic Command SFHQ (Jaffna) was warmly welcomed by Staff Officers and saluted in a Guard Turnout, presented by troops as he entered the premises.
Afterwards, the new Command of Logistic Command SFHQ (Jaffna) in his new office was invited to symbolically sign an official document to mark the assumption of his duties. Later on, the new Commandant addressed all Officers and Other Ranks where he expressed his vision for the Logistic Command SFHQ (Jaffna) in future.
Staff Officers of the Logistic Command SFHQ (Jaffna), Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks of Logistics Battalions were present during the day's event.
