In order to uplift the knowledge on Military Act and Military Law a legal aid workshop was conducted on 20th and 21st February 2024 at Headquarters, Security Forces – Jaffna. It was organized as per the conceptual guidance of the Jaffna Commander, Major General MGWWWMCB Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, under the supervision of Director Legal, Colonel NS Nallaperuma USP ndc.
The timely important and pertinent workshop was conducted by a panel of Legal Officers headed by Colonel Legal, Colonel KAP Kuruppu USP with the intention of streamlining the problematic areas pertaining to legal aspects, which are encountering by under command formations at present, as another series of pilot project by Directorate of Legal.
Number of Senior Officers, Officers representing under Command Divisions, Brigades and Units were present to this informative workshop and obtained spectrum of knowledge.
