With the primary objective of enhancing Civil Military coordination, a football tournament was conducted at 51 Infantry Division’s Cimic park play ground at Kopai Jaffna on 26th November 2023.
12 teams, including 04 Junior teams, participated in this tournament. Udayasooriyan Football team won the Championship and Star Football team immerged Runners-Up. In junior category, Thirukumaran Junior Football team won the Championship and Anna Star Junior Football team secured Runners-Up.
General Officer Commanding 51 Infantry Division, Major General Wajira Welegedara graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and gave away trophies and cash prizes to the winners.
