Troops of the Security Forces (Jaffna) once again extended their technical, engineering and manpower support to build a new house to another underprivileged family in Chandrapuram, Chavakachcheri after their plight was brought to the notice of Major General Chandana Wijayasundara RSP USP ndu, Commander Security Forces (Jaffna).
The new house handing over ceremony to Mrs. Nagamani Saraswathi was held with the gracious presence of the Commander Security Forces (Jaffna) amid brief ceremony held on 22 July 2022.
This new house was built under the close supervision of General Officer Commanding of 52 Infantry Division, Major General Sanjeewa Fernado RWP RSP ndu, and financial contribution by Mr.V. Manoharan From “ Sathya Sri Organization”. The troops belong to 4th and 7th Vijayabahu Infantry Regiments provided much-required manpower for the construction work was carried out under 523 Infantry Brigade.
During the brief ceremony, dry ration packs and essential household items which required for this newly opened house were donated by the Commander Security Forces (Jaffna). Moreover, stationery items for school children’s were also donated for their further studies.
General Officer Commanding of 52 Infantry Division, Brigadier General Staff of Security Forces Headquarters (Jaffna), Brigade Commanders, Senior Officers, Government Officials, beneficiaries and their family members, troops of the Security Forces Jaffna were present.
