Troops of the Security Force -Jaffna once again extended their technical, engineering and manpower support to build a new house to another underprivileged family in Sangarathei, Jaffna after their plight was brought to the notice of Major General Priyantha Perera RWP RSP ndu, Commander Security Force Jaffna.
The new house handing over ceremony to Mr. Rasaduri Amudhapriya was held with the gracious presence of the Commander Security Forces -Jaffna during a brief ceremony held on Tuesday, 13 July 2021.
During the house handing over ceremony dry ration packs and essential household items which required for this newly opened house were given to the owner of the house. Moreover, stationery items also provided to the house owner's schooling Childers for their further studies
Financial contribution for the construction was provided by Mr. Kumar Weerasooriya. The troops belonging to the 11th Battalion Sri Lanka Light Infantry provided much-required manpower for the construction work expeditiously under the supervision of Commander 513 Infantry Brigade.
General Officer Commanding 51 Division, Commanders of 511,512,513 and 515 Infantry Brigade, Senior Officers, Government Officials and troops of the Security Force Jaffna were also participated for this ceremony under the strict health guidelines stipulated by the Army Headquarters.
