Security Forces Headquarters (Jaffna), the premier military establishment in the North, proudly celebrated its 27th Anniversary on 19th June 2023 organizing a series of programmes with the participation of troops in Jaffna.
On 18th June 2023, Officers and Other Ranks attended a Pooja at the premises in Palaly Security Forces Headquarters (Jaffna). The apex of the Anniversary ceremony took place on 19th June 2023. The Commander Security Forces (Jaffna), Major General SRK Hettiarachchi RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc on his arrival at the venue on the anniversary day, he recieved the Guard Turnout and subsequently received the salute of the Guard of Honour presented by the troops of Sri Lanka Light Infantry. To coincide with the anniversary day, Commander Security Forces (Jaffna) Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks joined an All Ranks Lunch. The programme culminated with a grand musical show on Monday evening.
