In coinciding with the World Environment Day, 23rd Battalion of Gemunu Watch, under command to 55 Infantry Division, planted 25 coconut saplings on both sides of the A - 09 road in Muhamalei Area on 05th June 2023. This battalion has planted a considerable number of shady plants such as Kumbuk, Kohomba,which has been duly appreciated by the civilians in the Muhamalei Area. The Commanding Officer, Major RMMB Sampath RWP RSP, Officers and Other Ranks participated in this programme.
